This Go-Mai blade (5-layers) is forged from stainless steel and nickel with a core of 80CrV2 steel. This blade is fully etched, tang and all with forge marked/acid soaked flats, a beveled spine/corners for comfort and this blade also has a thumb rise for better control. This blade has a 3 1/2" cutting edge and is 7 3/4" overall, weighing in at 7.3 oz. The handle scales are stabilized Pinecone (last scales from the FIF set) done in my "palm swell" style with blue/grey G-10 tang liners. The handle scales are secured with stainless steel handle bolts and this knife has an expose lanyard hole. This knife comes with a fully carved/tooled and two-toned leather pouch sheath with a matching tooled belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
