This fully-quenched, blue-backed blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel. This piece has my standard forge marked/acid soaked flats for contrast and a beveled spine and corners for comfort, this blade also has a nice file worked thumb rest for better control. This blade has a 4 3/8" cutting edge and is 9" overall, weighing in at 7.4 oz. The entire blade has a been etched, tang and all. The handle scales are A-grade Western Myall (Australian) wood done in my "palm swell" style with Yellow G-10 tang liners. The handle scales are secured with Brass pins and I added an acrylic/brass center pin for accent, along with an exposed pommel/lanyard hole. This knife comes with a border tooled and two-tone leather pouch sheath with a matching tooled belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
