This fully-quenched, blue-backed blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel. This piece has my standard forge marked/acid soaked flats for contrast, a beveled spin and corners for comfort as well as a thumb rise for better control. This blade has a 4 1/4" cutting edge and is 8 3/8" overall, weighing in at 6.2 oz. The entire blade has a been etched, tang and all. The handle scales are stabilized, A-grade Juniper wood done in my "palm swell" style with Tiffany Blue G-10 tang liners. The handle scales are secured with stainless steel pins and I added an acrylic/brass center pin for accent, along with an exposed pommel/lanyard hole. This knife comes with a border tooled and two-tone leather pouch sheath with a matching tooled belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
