This fully-quenched, blue-backed blade is forged from 8670 high carbon steel. This piece has my standard forge marked/acid soaked flats for contrast and a beveled spine and corners for comfort, this blade also has a thumb rise for better control. This blade has a 5 1/2" cutting edge and is 10 1/4" overall, weighing in at 9.1 oz. The entire blade has a been etched, tang and all. The handle scales are a mosaic of colorful acrylic pieces, done in my "palm swell" style, with Toxic Green G-10 tang liners, secured with matching G-10 pins and a center "accent" pin. This knife comes with a fully tooled/carved, two-tone leather pouch sheath with a matching tooled belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
