This curly tailed Hunter/Utility/Patch Knife is forged from 1084 high carbon steel. This knife has hand-rubbed bevels and is edge-quenched and etched to show the Hamon/quench lines. This piece also has a file worked thumb rest and forge marked/acid soaked flats. This blade has a 2 3/4" cutting edge and is 6" overall, weighing in at 2.1 oz. The steel tang is drawn and curled into a handle with a hand-hammered copper collar. This knife comes with a tooled leather pouch sheath with a belt clip by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
