"Bleeding Heart Dagger"
This full tang NYC style dagger is a fully quenched San Mai blade forged from a core of 1095 high carbon steel and cladded on either side with early 1900's ship chain wrought iron. The blade has forge marked flats and is etched to bring out the pink/bronze elements of the wrought. This blade has just about a 4 3/8" double cutting edge and is 9 & 1/2" overall, weighing in at 8.5 oz. This blade is fully etched to show to center core. The handle scales are A-grade Black Ask Burl done in my 2-radius (8-10") "palm swell" style with black G-10 tang liners and are secured with mild steel J-bolts. The handle also has mild steel and brass accent pins and an exposed lanyard hole. This knife comes with a leather pouch sheath with a black Shark skin inlay and a fancy belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather as well as insured USPS priority shipping in the continental US.
